Sri Ananthapadmanabha Swamy Temple in Ananthapura of kasaragod district of
kerala is unique in all respects. The temple is built in unknown past in
the midst of large natural lake. The age of the temple can be calculated
by the age-old murals on the walls as in Ajantha, Chola and Kerala style.
This
temple is moolastanam (original seat) of sri Padmanabha Swamy
temple,Thiruvananthapuram, which is the capital city of Kerala.
The Unique
Temple is under renovation.
